Just in time for the holidays, we are launching Cindy Sherman Holiday Cards, created by Cindy Sherman as an expansion of her studio practice, giving insight into her experimental and spontaneous spirit outside of an exhibition context. This box set features five festive characters expressing their unique holiday spirit, paired with a vintage-inspired pattern and holiday message. The images were created from Sherman’s experiments with “beautifying” face apps tweaked with AI algorithms.

Proceeds from the cards benefit Transanta, a mutual aid project that connects anonymous gift-givers with trans youth who are unhoused, in foster care, or otherwise without crucial support they need to thrive. Founded in 2020 by Indya Moore, Kyle Lasky, and Chase Strangio, Transanta was born of a desire to center trans care, joy and giving at a time of escalating violence and attacks on the trans community. Its parent organization is Allies In Arts, a 501(c)3 non-profit.
